Pick the email that fits the moment, make it yours in a couple of clicks, and copy it straight into Outlook. No blank page, no starting from scratch.
FirstDraft is a copy-first library of ready message bodies - find the one that fits the situation, make it yours, and copy it into your own email.
1. Browse the library - it opens as a set of stacks, one per category. Open a stack to see its templates, or pick a category on the left. In a hurry? Use the Search by situation bar up top - type it the way you'd say it ("went quiet", "rate dropped", "need paystubs") and we surface the matching templates.
2. Open a template and fill in the fields. Required fields are marked with an orange star. The Subject and Message are yours to edit - type right in them to change or redraft the wording, or just leave the fill-ins to merge in. The "What you'll copy" preview always shows the final result; an unfilled field reads as a [Label] placeholder.
3. Want a different tone? Use Rephrase - Friendlier, More professional, or More concise. It adjusts the wording only and keeps your details. Changed your mind? Revert to original puts the subject and message back. Review before sending.
4. Click Copy message to copy the core text, then paste it into your own email - add your own greeting and your own signature there. Need the subject line too? Use Copy subject next to it.
5. If a template carries a PDF (a disclosure, worksheet, or checklist), the Attachments section lets you review, fill, and sign it in the browser, then Download PDF and attach it in your own email. You can also attach your own PDF to fill and download.
